Job Summary: DT Professional Services is seeking an Interpreter (Sign Language) to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role provides real-time sign language interpretation between spoken and signed communication to support effective communication at meetings, conferences, and events. Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language into sign language and sign language into spoken English in real-time settings. Provide accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation for conferences, symposiums, meetings, and formal events. Prepare for assignments by reviewing agendas, technical terminology, and event materials. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards and ethics. Basic Qualifications: Active Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years experience providing translation between spoken and sign language; must have experience translating real time at events such as conferences or symposiums.
