Employment Type -  Permanent Part Time Hours per fortnight - 56  Job Category - Allied Health Professional (generic) Req Id - 8387     Senior Grade 4 educator role within the Centre for Education & Training Ongoing training and professional development | supported work environment  Permanent part-time position (48 hours per fortnight)        About the role   Barwon Health is looking for a grade 4 Educator in Nursing, Midwifery or Allied Health to lead interprofessional education within the Centre for Education & Training.   This role is responsible for developing and coordinating interprofessional education strategy, programs, and initiatives that build capability for effective collaborative practice and communication across Barwon Health. The position oversees a portfolio of education activities across all levels of learning and clinical practice, using interprofessional education as a key pedagogical strategy to support high-quality, person-centred care.   Key responsibilities  Lead the development and implementation of the Interprofessional Education (IPE) strategy and annual workplan, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, quality standards, and measurable outcomes. Oversee the design, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of interprofessional education programs that enhance communication, teamwork, and collaborative practice across the workforce. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to staff within the portfolio, building capability in facilitation, program design, and delivery while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support research activities, and promote best-practice interprofessional education to improve patient care outcomes.   What we’re looking for  Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop and implement strategic education initiatives, and manage complex programs that deliver measurable outcomes in dynamic healthcare environments. Extensive experience in learning design, interprofessional education, and clinical practice, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications and contemporary knowledge of healthcare education and workforce development. Highly developed communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and gain commitment from stakeholders at all organisational levels.
