EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced Intervention Specialist to work on our school campus in Mansfield, OH, for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

Job Description for Intervention Specialist

  • Intervention Specialist needed in Mansfield, OH
  • Age Group: All
  • Start: August 2025
  • End date: June 2026 (Possible extension)
  • Total hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Required License/Certification: OH Sp. Ed. Certification

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or private school experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.

    Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
