Southway seeks to appointan inspiring and ambitious Intervention Support Assistant to join our very effective, dedicated and dynamic team. The suitable candidate will have relevant experience of working with students with Special Education Needs (SEN) and will have a sound understanding of how to support and facilitate the learning and progress of students. You will play a pivotal role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, therefore raising the standards of education attainment.
At Southway, we aim to liberate potential by providing a platform to enable students to maximise their opportunities to learn, develop and progress. The successful candidate will embrace this aim and immerse themselves into our vibrant setting that truly changes outcomes for students. Southway is a subsidiary company of the Resillience Multi Academy Trust, providing alternative and vocational opportunities in education for students at KS3 and KS4, who may otherwise have been excluded from mainstream school. Southway is an environment with inclusion and equality at its heart. We are dedicated to the belief that every student has the right to the very highest quality education, set against a backdrop of high expectations, appropriate academic rigour, constructive support and guidance, and effective and mutually beneficial partnerships. We provide a high quality education in an innovative, stimulating, inspiring, safe and caring environment; an education personalised for and constructive to each student. Committed to the Trust ethos, Southway has clearly demonstrated that even the most challenging and complex students can reach their full potential and achieve academic success.
This is a real opportunity for you to make your mark, and as a growing Multi Academy Trust with an excellent reputation, there are always opportunities for career development for ambitious and committed colleagues.
Prospective candidates are welcome to contact Southway via Claire Boardman, PA to the Principal at: CBoardman@southway.org.uk to arrange a discussion about this opportunity.
