Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor of Arts/Science in Education or field instruction required * Current Educator’s Florida Certification * Exceptional Education Certification * Reading Endorsement * Three years teaching experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Effectively communicates expectations for student learning and behavior. * Use formal and informal assessments to identify learning gaps in reading, math and other core subjects. * Creates tailored instructional strategies and materials to address specific skill deficits. * Partners with general education teachers, special education staff, and administrators to align interventions with classroom instruction. * Tracks student performance, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain detailed records of growth. * Shares progress updates, offer strategies for home support, and involve parents in the intervention process. * Implements behavior intervention strategies to promote student engagement and self-regulation. * Uses classroom procedures that support effective teaching and student achievement. * Develops a climate and culture of openness, fairness, mutual respect, support and inquiry. * Designs lessons to promote student engagement through active learning, hands on application, and teacher-student and student-student. * Submits collaborative lesson plans timely * Promotes independent and collaborative work ethic. * Participates in professional learning communities and attends professional development opportunities to fully meet each child’s needs. * Attends and participates in meetings with administration as needed. * Provides timely and clear communication. * Demonstrate problem-solving. * Instructs on the implementation of research-based interventions that are based on quantitative and qualitative data collected along with meaningful classroom data. * Demonstrates knowledge of content area and strategizes for student success. * Demonstrate professionalism and positive relationships with colleagues.
