Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Interventional Gastroenterologist to join the growing team in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii. This is a rare opportunity to practice advanced procedures in a serene, community-focused environment, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Big Island. Key Responsibilities: If General/Interventional GI: Perform general endoscopy procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and polypectomy. Opportunity to perform advanced/interventional GI procedures (e.g., ERCP, EUS) if trained and interested. Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Collaborate with primary care and surgical teams for continuity of care. Participate in call rotation and GI consultations as needed. Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (with optional training in Interventional GI procedures). Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Hawaii. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
