Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you’ll play a vital role in patient care by supporting clinical procedures, managing appointments, and ensuring seamless office operations. If you’re detail-oriented, compassionate, and skilled in both patient interaction and medical office systems, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Duties and Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Take vitals pre/post-op and document findings in their patient chart Organize, authorize, and schedule appointments for referrals Send prescriptions electronically, by fax, or by verbally calling them in Assist during medical examinations Triage patient calls, assess the problem, consult with the physician Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Requirements Required License/Experience/Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems High school diploma or equivalent BLS Certification English Preferred License/Experience/Skills Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Support clinical procedures by interviewing patients, documenting medical histories, and taking pre- and post-operative vitals. Manage office operations including appointment scheduling, prescription handling, and triage of patient calls.
