To provide safe and effective nursing care to patients attending theRadiology departmentThis will include both adults and paediatric patients as well as frail andelderly cohort.To manage procedural lists and implement nursing care according todepartmental/Trust guidelines, policies and procedures, ensuring accuratedocumentation.To assist the Radiographers and Radiologists in procedures as diverse asbarium examinations and interventional procedures such as biopsies andangiograms. This involves preparing equipment, ensuring asepsis ifnecessary, acting as scrub assistant when required, safely preparing andhandling all medical devices used, and ensuring consent form is signedTo participate in the procedure of ordering and maintenance of supplies toensure all necessary material resources are available for all sessions
