Position Summary

  • The Interventional Radiology RN is knowledgeable in pre–procedure, intra procedure and post procedure care of the adult patient population.
  • Responsibility also includes medication administration and knowledge of critical care medications including procedural sedation, continuous hemodynamic monitoring and knowledge in arrhythmia management.
  • Collaborates with the Intervention Radiology Technologist to provide safe, quality patient care, participates in all unit initiatives and PI projects.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Maintains current BCLS and ACLS
  • Current RN License with South Carolina State Board of Nursing Satisfactory references from previous and/or current employers or School of Nursing.
  • Critical care experience
  • Any Interventional/PICC knowledge is preferred
