Make a Difference The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures and peripheral vascular procedures. Interventional Radiology Technologists are responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting providers as requested. Technologists respond with the team to patient distress situations and assist with equipment quality control and inventory management. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Prepares patient and equipment for interventional lab procedures by preparing site of entry, - draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing. Attends to patient needs during interventional lab procedures. Scrubs during procedure, as applicable. Assists the physician in maneuvering catheters. Monitors and records hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating - hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment. Effectively communicates with members of the care team to deliver high quality, patient centered care Collaborate on the first Siemens Nexaris IR/CT combo in the state of Indiana. Willing to cross-train from other Imaging modalities. Education: Associate degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography License: Required: Current ARRT (R) and current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana
