This critical role is responsible for the creation, accuracy, and ongoing maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and the item master database. The successful candidate will also provide valuable analytics and reporting to support inventory performance and drive supply chain efficiency.
We’re looking for someone who brings both precision in data entry and analytical thinking to ensure clean, reliable data that supports production, procurement, and broader operational decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience within a manufacturing, materials management, or supply chain environment.
  • Practical experience working with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
  • Solid organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to reflect current engineering and production specifications.
  • Manage the item master file, ensuring accurate product details including part numbers, descriptions, and classifications.
  • Input and validate new product, component, and material information into ERP/MRP systems.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure data consistency and integrity across BOMs, item master records, and inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production departments to process and implement updates or changes to items or BOMs.
  • Create and analyze reports detailing inventory levels, usage patterns, discrepancies, and trends to support operations and planning.
  • Identify and address data gaps or inconsistencies, driving improvements in data quality.
  • Support new product launches by establishing accurate item records and BOM structures.
  • Ensure timely and precise data entry for system updates, inventory changes, and product modifications.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and metrics to monitor inventory health and data accuracy.
