POSITION SUMMARY

Analyse inventory levels of warehouses, decide on item forecasts, plan future merchandise needs from sales forecasts and coordinate the stages of freight transportation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • A level or Degree
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a purchasing or replenishment department is a desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel software
  • Experience in inventory analysis is desirable
  • Practical experience with landed cost, customs taxes and the receipt of goods, is desirable
  • Detailed and highly organised
  • High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 17:00pm

    Pay: £29,500.00-£31,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Analyse inventory levels weekly and replenish according to forecasts, to eliminate out of stocks
  • Chase factories for relevant shipments documents; invoices, packing lists, EUDR compliancy documents, etc.
  • Check incoming stocks and undertake regular & random stock check to make sure items are to the spec
  • Identify slow-moving products and inform sales team to help push sales
  • Compile inventory reports using EPR system and maintain relevant spreadsheets
  • Identify discrepancies in inventory and inform relevant teams
  • Arrange and monitor overseas and local shipments avoiding any delays
  • Develop and manage good business relationships with factories, forwarders, and all parts of the business.
  • Compile information regarding transportation costs, vendor price changes, etc.
  • Setup items on the system, and prepare and maintain specification sheets
  • Check product artworks; case markings, retail pack artworks, etc. prepared by the marketing department and get final versions approved.
