Description As an Inventory Analyst at Dan-O's Seasoning, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the seamless flow of products to our retail trading partners. You will work closely with the Director of Supply Chain Planning to align forecasts and inventory purchasing plans, supporting retail trading partner replenishments, strategy initiatives, promotions, and product launches. Requirements Primary Job Duties: Forecast and Inventory Alignment: Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain Planning to align forecasts and inventory purchasing plans with retail trading partner replenishments, strategy initiatives, promotions and product launches Purchasing and Material Management: Assist in the review and management of activities related to strategic and tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving Tracking and Reporting Improvement: Evaluate and propose solutions to improve the tracking and reporting of materials, product distribution and inventory management processes. Supply Planning Review: Review supply planning inputs to align safety stock, lead time and order patterns with inventory turnover and service levels objectives. Data Analysis: Prepare special reports, statistics and data tables to analyze sales results and assist in forecasting inventory needs. Sales and Operations Meetings: Actively participate in Sales and Operations meetings and discussions, providing valuable insights and input related to inventory management Daily Operations Support: Assist with daily operations and order management as needed to ensure efficient inventory flow. New Product Coordination: Participate in the coordination of product line extensions and new product initiatives, working collaboratively with sales, marketing finance, procurement and product development teams. Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier network activities to assess their performance in meeting service agreements and maintain strong supplier relationships Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Suite / Google Sheets Demonstrated ability to learn new systems/processes/reporting tools Works well with others and enjoys being part of a team with an eye toward growth Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects at one time Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization, internally and externally Strong understanding of the fundamentals of supply chain planning (inventory forecasting, days of supply calculations, demand planning) Ability to work in an open office environment, on-site.
