Description

The Inventory Analyst helps us fulfill customer orders by continually auditing the flow of materials in our production processes. They are challenged to research discrepancies and find solutions, thus improving the inventory record accuracy of components used in the manufacture of our products.

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Stand at a work desk on a manufacturing floor, receiving dock, and warehouse.
  • Lift totes and packages throughout the day, some weighting weighing 25 -40 lbs.
  • Work at heights in an order picker, auditing materials stored at elevation.
  • High school graduate or GED preferred. Associates degree preferred.
  • Material handling, cycle counting, shipping, or receiving experience required.
  • Intermediate skills with SAP/MRP/ERP/WMS systems & MS Office
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle certification (forklift/hilo) with ability to move materials in aisles, stacks and on shelves.
  • Strong math skills and ability to calculate averages, ratios, and percentages
  • Analyzing problems, formulating solutions, and resolving issues quickly
  • Detail oriented, organized with effective written and verbal communication
  • Customer service attitude
  • Adherence to safety policies and practices that apply to assigned area
  • Excellent record of punctuality and attendance

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of technical and physical tasks throughout the day. Carry out daily tasks assigned by leaders in a fast-paced team environment. The position is computer intensive and requires multi-tasking in various systems.

  • Cycle count raw materials, components and finished goods
  • Identify gaps in data and use problem solving methods to identify causes and solutions
  • Present data to the leadership team and team members, work with the team to implement short term and long term corrective actions
  • Provide training to team members on inventory transactions and routings and the consequences of inventory movements and transactions
  • Perform computer research and analysis by manipulating and analyzing data
  • May assist in shipping and receiving, use forklift to move materials
