We are continuing to experience strong growth and are pleased to announce an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst position based in Melbourne, Australia. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work up to four days a week. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Inventory Planning and will play a critical part in driving accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with overall inventory and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities * Perform historical sales analysis & forecast future sales. * Create and maintain purchase orders throughout the lifecycle to ensure accurate supply signals. * Maintain inventory availability among distribution centers to meet sales requirements. * Maintain various inventory projection models. * Monitor and report key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turnover. * Communicate with vendors and various parties within the organization to ensure timely inventory replenishment and order fulfillment. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning and forecasting * University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar * Candidates with ASCI/ASCM Certifications an asset. * Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Detail-oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi-task. * Proficiency in English * Can work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team. * Previous inventory planning and/or demand planning experience is essential. * Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or StockIQ is an asset. * Proficiency in analytical modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be considered a strong advantage. * Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and planning concepts * Comfortable collaborating remotely with global inventory, procurement, and sales teams across multiple regions and time zones. * A reliable internet connection is required when working remotely. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Strong, proactive communication skills are critical for success in this role.
