Our client is a medium-sized multi-national manufacturer of consumables supplying the mining sector. They have operations across Europe, the Americas and Australia.

Description

• Ensure 3PL inventory levels are in line with lead times and order volumes.
• Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and transportation schedules.
• Work closely with overseas production teams and 3PL suppliers to ensure stock availability.
• Analyse inventory data and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet organisational requirements.

Profile

A successful Inventory and Logistics Coordinator should have:

• Strong experience with international container logistics, servicing a local 3PL supplier.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• A good understanding of INCOTerms and international logistics
