INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR, SASKATOON, SK – NORTH STAR SYSTEMS INC.

We’re seeking an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator who isdetail-oriented, organized, and a motivated professional. In this role, you’ll manage shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics to ensure our clients, partners, and teams get the right products, on time, every time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Coordinate and execute all shipping and receiving, including packaging, labelling, inspections, and documentation.
· Administer logistics requirements for domestic and international shipments, including importing/exporting documentation.
· Maintain accurate inventory control, including client and supplier account administration
· Regularly collaborate with team members on procurement and supply chain needs
· Conduct supplier research, communication, and negotiation to support business operations.
· Leverage and maintain accurate data across software systems (Agre, HubSpot, internal systems).
· Develop in-depth knowledge of raw materials and commercial products.
· Support process improvements and cross-functional projects to strengthen operational efficiency.
· Understand North Star Systems internal policies and procedures
· Work closely with all North Star Systems team members meeting the day-to-day needs of the business
· Assist CFO and Finance team with reporting, record-keeping, and other requests as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Post secondary qualification in agriculture, commerce, logistics or other relevant accreditation
· Previous experience in logistics, inventory management or supply chain is an asset
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment creating solutions for clients

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

· Agricultural technology
· IoT/m2m technologies
· Wireless applications

COMPETENCIES-SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Effective interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written
· Strong problem-solving skills required
· Ability to work with a diverse team of people
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
· Effective computer skills and proficiency with software tools (ERP, CRM, accounting systems)
· Adaptability to support multiple roles and responsibilities when required
· Positive and proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Valid drivers license
