Company Description We are a local family owned business Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas. Safely maneuver heavy lifting equipment throughout the warehouse while adhering to OSHA regulations. Build and stack pallets as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management, tracking product movement, and maintaining accurate records. Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency in materials handling. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
