Description The Inventory and Receiving Associate is responsible for ensuring that inventory is accurately received via freight and/ or parcel, tracked, and maintained. This role involves working closely with the warehouse and operations teams to verify shipments, update inventory systems, and ensure that products are stocked and organized efficiently. The Inventory and Receiving Associate will help maintain accurate records, resolve inventory discrepancies, and ensure smooth flow of materials within the warehouse. This position may also be required to perform the occasional order picking, order packing and order checking if and as directed by Management. Job Duties: Receiving Shipments: Inspect and receive incoming goods from vendors and suppliers. Verify that the quantities, specifications, and conditions of goods match the purchase orders and delivery receipts. Unload, inspect, and ensure that products are stored in the correct locations in the warehouse. Process returns shipments according to company and vendor policies and procedures. Develop good working relationships with delivery carriers and drivers. Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately input data into the Company’s inventory system. Track and report damaged, defective, or missing items during the receiving process in accordance with Company procedures. Maintain proper documentation of receipts, purchase orders, and inventory adjustments. Quality Control and Stocking: Ensure that products are in good condition and meet quality standards. Label and organize items in a way that supports efficient stocking and retrieval. Work closely with warehouse associates to ensure products are stocked in the right locations for easy access. Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full inventory audits. Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO). Other Warehouse Duties: Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks. Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts. Accurately pull and fill customer orders. Accurately check pulled orders. Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility. Any other duties and projects as assigned by Management. Requirements Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability and willingness to be trained and certified to operate a forklift (Company provide training and certification as needed) Demonstrate understanding of safety issues. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Highly focused and proactive to handle simultaneous deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite Ability to be detailed, accurate, and thorough while working in a fast-paced environment. Punctual attendance and excellent time management skills are required. Working Conditions Work is typically performed in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled Physical activity required, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds using a pallet jack or pallet stacker. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
