Job DetailsJob Location: CEDAR PARK, TX 78613Position Type: Full TimeJOB SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement and providing oversite of all inventory and warehouse activities, the Inventory and Warehouse manager will be responsible for the following job duties: Key Responsibilities This role will manage and oversee all inventory and warehouse activities charged with developing strategies for multiple independent business segments Lead inventory and warehouse initiatives to streamline processes Responsible for inventory and warehouse cost control, inventory accuracy, ERP integration Develop and create regular reporting needs (consumption, availability, inventory accuracy – cycle counting/annual physicals) Continually communicate with operational leaders managing their expectations while ensuring needs are met Verify receipt of material before authorization to A/P for payment. Work in coordination with purchasing to forecast demand, establish reorder points and safety stocks, and min/max levels Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions Action and delegate responsibilities and know the difference as tasks are assigned. Managing periodic or special projects as needed Work in a team-based environment with limited supervision; with the capacity to work remotely without supervision Qualifications High school Diploma, G.E.D, or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain Management, or related field (experience may substitute for education). Prior experience in a Inventory or Warehouse role with a minimum 7 years of experience in a leadership role – preferably in oil & gas, or other heavy-industrial sectors. Experience working within Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or ERP systems, (Oracle, NetSuite highly desirable). Demonstrated proficiency with office systems (word, teams, excel) with the ability to analyze data using these systems. Ability to document, plan, and execute initiatives with established project management skills Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with changing demands. Must be responsive and willing to move quickly. Balance multiple tasks in a challenging, fast-paced work environment. Impeccable integrity with strong interpersonal and leadership skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in 24/7 environment with short lead times. Capability to travel (15%) to job sites as required Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods during warehouse or site visits
