Description What Will You Do? The Inventory Assistant is responsible for providing companywide inventory support and maintenance by performing accurate and timely inventory control functions through analysis, transaction processing and reporting. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for: Manage and support monthly equipment and parts inventory cycle counts by creating count sheets, auditing reconciliation and posting final counts. Track and communicate inventory results and data effectively to management and sales. Review daily inventory movement reports to support departmental execution of inventory accuracy and processing. Process and evaluate inventory transactions affecting product movement and adjustment. Support sales divisions with inventory obsolescence management. Maintain product database in inventory system by building products, performing pricing updates and editing product line assignments, warehouse records and vendor/buyer assignments. Support sales divisions with customer price matrix management. Assist with receiving weekly bulk stock order systematically, process invoices and filing claims with vendor. Monitor and review inventory control processes to support company initiatives and objectives. Develops special reporting and project requirements as needed to support warehouse, purchasing, sales and service functions. Develop and grow in sales division and product knowledge base. To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements: College degree preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum two years’ inventory management experience.
