Our client is actively seeking an Inventory Associate in the Production area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years prior experience in similar role required
  • Prior experience working with ERP software like SAP required
  • Experience with inventory handling and high attention to detail required
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Requires demonstrated problem-solving skills, good attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a faced paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated high level of personal accountability, reliability, sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and carry out instructions as laid out in S.O.P.s
  • WHMIS, Health and Safety, First Aid training is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Maintain an accurate count on inventory storage locations by physically counting inventory.
  • Review, investigate and report location discrepancies by collaborating with team leads, receiving department and DC associates
  • Collaborate with Inventory Audit team to identify and report key errors involving individual performance
  • Collaborate with DC associates to ensure inventory handling is executed with accuracy
  • Collaborate with the inventory profilers to ensure the “right” stock is in the” right” locations
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain high standards of security, health and safety to avoid accidents/injuries.
  • Organize material in plant and warehouse receiving area according to specified material locations.
