Description Role Overview: The Inventory Associate supports the receiving, inventory movements, and shipping activities, including off-site storage, in order to ensure consistent internal and external customer satisfaction. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in leading daily warehouse activities which include safely loading/unloading trucks, documenting inbound & outbound materials, storing of inbound/outbound materials and preparation of customer orders. Utilize the ERP system to ensure material availability in support of production requirements. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical cycle counts reconciling with ERP system. Manages the disposition of the returned sku’s in a timely manner. Supports receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material, and shipping requirements. Works with Warehouse Supervisor to maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing maintenance work orders for repair and requisitions as needed. Supports and upholds established Tredit Tire & Wheel policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, and safety environment. Provides coaching and counseling to employees by planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Performs other related duties as assigned. Enthusiastic, self-starter, energetic, organized, and service minded. Ability to multitask and cope with a wide range of situations. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems with procurement transactions, data capture, analysis, and reporting preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe. Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software strongly preferred. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Regularly required to sit. Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or hear. Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds at times. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
