Inventory clerk - Full- time regular shifts
Location:  Etobicoke, 399 Evans Ave
Department:  Logistic
Employment Type:  Permanent Full Time
Reports to: Logistic manager

  • Strong communication and organizational skill

  • Excellent computer skill.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid forklift driving license is an advantage.
  • minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably meat company).
Responsibilities
  • Duties and responsibilities of a inventory clerk
  • Tracking Inventory:
  • Monitoring stock levels, recording incoming and outgoing shipments, and updating inventory databases with accurate information.
  • Stocking and Organizing:
  • Loading and unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring items are stored in a way that is easily accessible.
  • Conducting Audits:
  • Performing physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciling any discrepancies found.
  • Identifying and Resolving Issues:
  • Investigating and reporting inventory discrepancies, shortages, or surpluses, and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments:
  • Communicating with purchasing, logistics, production, QA and other relevant teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient operations.
  • Maintaining Organized Storage:
  • Keeping storage areas clean, organized, and secure, following safety and organizational procedures.
  • Generating Reports:
  • Creating inventory reports for management, including stock levels, ordering trends, and financial summaries.
