Description The Inventory Clerk is responsible for daily receiving operations and maintaining accurate inventory documentation. This role also manages shipment discrepancies, damage claims, product quality issues, and record archiving as required. Accuracy, organization, and timely documentation are essential to ensure proper inventory control and compliance with company and supplier procedures. Daily Responsibilities Verify daily summary reports on the system for all scheduled incoming loads Print Inventory Purchases daily Maintain physical archives by filing all receiving documents, claims, and dunnage records Scan and electronically archive all receiving, dunnage, and claims documentation into designated backup folders Requirements Claims & Exception Handling Misshipment Claims Set up claims on the page for loads with missing pallets or cases Freight (Damage) Claims Submit freight damage claims on the page Include photos of damage and scanned supporting documentation Product Quality Claims Create product quality claims on the Marketing page when damaged or leaking pallets are identified in the warehouse Attach photos and scanned documentation Damaged Kegs Claims Submitdamaged keg claims on the Marketing page when damage is identified Dunnage Management Request dunnage pickups through the One Portal page Set up dunnage returns and specify the type of packaging being returned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent AP/AR experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to accurately handle documentation and record keeping Basic computer skills and experience working with online portals or inventory systems Ability to manage paperwork both physically and digitally Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Additional Notes Receiving is the primary responsibility handled on a daily basis Claims and dunnage processes are performed as needed, depending on shipment conditions and warehouse findings
