JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk to manage and oversee all non-cannabis inventory within the organization. This role is primarily focused on consumables, construction materials, power tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and related supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, solid data entry skills, and a background in inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in inventory management, data entry, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to perform basic data entry with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of construction materials, power tools, PPE, and related supplies is preferred.
• Ability to make small-scale purchases as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to [insert weight here] and perform physical tasks associated with stock management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively across departments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic construction materials and tools, including power tools, PPE, and related consumables.
• Previous experience working with inventory control systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a plus.

• Perform daily counts and audits of consumables and other non-cannabis materials to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels.
• Record and track inventory levels, movement, and usage to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Gather purchase requests from various departments and relay them to the purchaser for fulfillment.
• Make small, routine purchases for office supplies, PPE, and other necessary items, ensuring timely procurement and efficient use of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions, including inbound and outbound materials, ensuring documentation aligns with actual inventory levels.
• Assist in coordinating the organization and distribution of supplies as needed across departments.
• Monitor stock levels regularly and notify the purchasing department when it’s time to reorder or restock essential items.
