Description
Manage and maintain inventory control process for all inbound shipments, as well as maintaining applicable records as required. Manage vendor inbound process from start to ensure proper documentation is received and compliance requirements are understood Oversee and accurately process receiving product and purchase orders; work with Supply Chain and receive purchases into inventory Research and report any receiving related issues. Work with appropriate departments to resolve issues Identify resolutions to inventory issues that may allow the remaining balance of in-process orders to be completed and shipped Oversees inventory counts, controls and processes for incoming and in-house product orders, ensuring accuracy and timely system posting Prepare and update weekly receiving schedule and reports for all in-house, incoming, and problem shipments; create schedule to assure accurate processing of incoming orders Assure inspections of all incoming shipments are conducted and product meets division standards prior to receipt into inventory Track productivity stats for receiving and quality control staff to assure department & company goals are achieved Evaluate current inventory loaded in SAP to determine if system errors or actual inventory levels are causing discrepancies. Responsible for ensuring the proper completion, record keeping and follow-up of all inbound shipments. Perform all other duties as assigned Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in global manufacturing, quality assurance or compliance Ability to understand technical product features and functionalities and determine the related export or import requirements Strong communication and time-management skills Keen ability to prioritize work assignments in teams and individually in accomplishing goals Ability to multi-task, manage large projects and drive to conclusion Ability to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties #LI-MARCHON Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
