Description

Job Summary: This person will be responsible for oversight of Customer Inventory by coordinating with Operations Team through receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. Essential Functions: * Maintain Inventory accuracy by auditing and cycle counting receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing processes and procedures to produce customer service excellence. * Ensure correct and timely handling of product within the established Vertical Cold Storage policies and procedures. Utilizing appropriate, defined practices to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Control inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with system software. * Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols. * Protect shipments by investigating causes of damages and discrepancies in consignments. * Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair. * Enforce safety policies by conducting inspections, counseling employees, and identifying and correcting infractions. * Collaborate departmental workflow between warehouse, production, office, and corporate administrative departments. Job Qualifications * High school diploma or its equivalent required. * Prior reach truck and cherry picker experience. * 1-3 years' experience in warehouse/distribution preferred. * Knowledge and experience in Safety and OSHA desired. * Strong customer service skills with ability to read and write English. * Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word & Outlook. * Ability to communicate at all levels. * Problem solving abilities with attention to detail. Physical Requirements: * Employee is regularly required to stand, walk for 8 or more hours in a day. * Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently. * Employee is frequently required to bend, twist, use hand to finger, handle, controls and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms.
