JOB OVERVIEW

Spend your day surrounded by plants, sharing your love and knowledge with fellow plant lovers! Working with the Garden Centre Coordinators and Admin Assistant, the Inventory Control Associate maintains an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all plant materials and statutory in the nursery. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and the ability to properly count/label plant materials coming into the nursery. The position also includes retail sales components as well as, general housekeeping. This is an active and at times physically demanding job and requires flexibility and the ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in inventory management or administration is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
