Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory levels of machinery components and ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and maintained. This role is crucial to our production operational efficiency, as it involves tracking inventory movements, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with various departments to fulfill production needs. An ideal applicant will exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work independently while also being a team player. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement and logistics operations by ensuring that all data related to inventory is meticulously logged in our systems. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for machinery components. Track the movement of stocks and report discrepancies to management. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to maintain inventory needs and avoid stock shortages. Accurate utilization of the CMMS to maintain proper documentation Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the inventory storage area. Staging of project parts and delivery to designated locations Maintain cleanliness of work areas and storage areas Take part in scheduled cycle counts of inventory Assembly of needed inventory for planned work for pickup or delivery Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in inventory management is a plus. Ability to lift 40+lbs Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role within the machinery or manufacturing sector. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
