JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for entering product status updates in Microsoft Excel on an hourly basis in production throughout the plant and helping other operations’ functions. Will also update and enter information into the database (Oracle). Individual will need to wear PPE and walk to different buildings to collect information.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives and inputs data information into an Excel Spreadsheet.
  • Maintains and revises data as necessary and keep correct data.
  • Other clerical duties and tasks may be required.
  • This is in a production environment: walking around hourly to collect the data needed to enter the excel spreadsheet.

Qualifications:

  • Pay attention to detail
  • Manage time effectively
  • Recognize problems, understand urgency, and communicate to appropriate level
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience - 1+ years in data entry, clerical, or similar role
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook - Must be comfortable utilizing
  • Excel including entering data and checking for accuracy. Individual should be intermediate.
  • Must be comfortable working in and walking through the production areas. This is not an office role. They will be on their feet for the majority of the shift.
  • Must wear PPE throughout the day
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to do a lot of walking
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Housekeeping may be required
  • Work effectively with a variety of people
