Compensation for this role: Shift: Summary: This role performs inventory control tasks such as physical counts utilizing various computer programs to accurately input transactions; ensures the efficient movement and handling of all production related inventory and equipment and paperwork as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Performs transactions related to inventory adjustments and issuing/receiving. Makes necessary paperwork copies for Production Control and Quality Control. Assists with issuing material/product returns. Assists in packing material for shipment. Assists planners in resolving issues as requested. Operates forklift to retrieve or return inventory to proper locations. Performs cycle counts of inventory. Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One (1) year previous inventory control, shipping/receiving experience. Forklift certification required. Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
