Description

TacMed Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for the Thermal Solutions Group In Oviedo Fl. The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movements, and supporting production and warehouse operations to ensure materials and finished goods are available when needed. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to maintain accurate stock levels, minimize variances, and support efficient operations. Duties/Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system. * Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies. * Investigate and resolve inventory variances. * Track material usage, scrap, and returns. * Coordinate material flow between warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving. * Support kitting and staging of materials for production orders. * Assist with labeling, storage, and location accuracy of inventory. * Generate inventory status and usage reports for management. * Facilitate document control for assembly work instructions and assist with revisions. * Maintain documentation for audits, compliance, and quality requirements. * Support month-end and year-end physical inventory counts. * Work with Production to ensure material availability for schedules. * Partner with Purchasing on shortages, reorder points, and supplier deliveries. * Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving on inbound and outbound material handling. Required Skills/Abilities: * Working knowledge of inventory management processes and software in a manufacturing environment is required. * Experience with Misys Manufacturing MRP software is a plus. * Knowledge of cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory control procedures. * Must be very organized with high attention to detail. * Must have good verbal and written communication skills. * Strong Microsoft Word and Excel experience. Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. * 5+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations.
