7:00a-3:30p Monday-Friday What You Will Do Maintain the integrity of the perpetual inventory system with a focus on controlling the inventory values. Coordinate inventory management practices to include cycle counting, annual physical inventory. Review decision support reporting produced by the MMIS and develop consistent control procedures for inventory additions, deletions and changes. Design and review processes to eliminate stock shortages and surpluses. Develop and implement practices to reduce obsolete or unwanted inventory. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education Bachelor's Degree in business or work experience (Preferred) Work Experience 5+ years inventory control or purchasing experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Windows. (Required proficiency) Familiarity with operation of standard office equipment. (Required proficiency) Must possess good customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
