Description Job Summary: The Inventory Control Lead supports department leadership by guiding and mentoring the Inventory Control team to ensure accurate and efficient inventory processes. This role develops and improves departmental procedures, supports cross-functional collaboration, maintains client satisfaction, and ensures compliance with company policies, values, and safety standards. It also requires effective time management across multiple shifts and facilities. Responsibilities of the Position: Work cross-functionally as part of the Supply Chain Team on manufacturing process reviews and new products. Partner with key cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support company goals. Develop and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and maintain supply chain reports and systems to ensure all products are co-manufactured at the highest standards and within customer specifications. Provide leadership and direction to other Inventory Control team members. Train new hires and existing staff in inventory protocols and systems. Communicate with Clients to ensure all needs are met and to establish new relationships if needed. Work in Syteline and Mongoose (in-house ERP system), as well as EDI and SAP (client systems), to report and investigate daily consumption. Meet deadlines and demonstrate effective time management skills. Enforce company rules regarding food safety, discipline, and regulations Attend selected meetings. Participate in GMP/Safety Walks. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of ERP software experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills – Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Adaptable to fast paced environments with changing circumstances, direction and strategy and has the desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment Analytical and process driven thinker and problem solver Flexibility in operational style to meet the requirements of multi-cultural workplace Education and Experience: Minimum 2-year College Degree or HS Diploma/GED and relevant work experience Food Safety Responsibilities: Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness) Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring Working Conditions: Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business. This position may require the employee to work at all facilities to meet the needs of the business. Physical Requirements: Operate standard office equipment Reach with hands and arms Lift up to 25 pound
