JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and process driven Inventory Control Manager to oversee our new vehicle inventory as well as our lot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising, computer skills and customer service. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for stocking in new vehicles, inspecting for transport damage, merchandising our lot by brand, and overseeing support staff such as lot attendants and detailers. This person will need to work closely with our Used Car Manager and Service Manager to ensure all new and pre-owned vehicles are front-line ready in a timely fashion.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CDK, vAuto, Rapid Recon and KeyPer is a plus.
  • Experience with new car franchise operations is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or retail management is a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory merchandising by brand.
  • Oversee support staff’s scheduling, daily tasks, and work assignments.
  • Inspect and stock in new vehicles as they arrive on the lot.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with OEM and company standards.
  • Collaborate with Used Car Manager and Service Manager to ensure all vehicles are front-line ready.
  • Daily walk lots to inspect for lot damage and communicate to the appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate with various departments to assist in providing the best customer experience.
  • Train and supervise support staff on best practices in inventory and lot maintenance.
