Operating from our 50,000 sqft state-of-the-art warehouse facility, we process over 650,000 shipments annually across B2B and B2C channels. We’re currently undergoing an exciting warehouse transformation, implementing cutting-edge automation solutions to enhance our operational efficiency.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory management across our high-volume operation of 500,000+ units spanning 25,000 SKUs. This is a pivotal role supporting our warehouse modernization initiative, working closely with our Warehouse department teams to optimize inventory accuracy, streamline processes, and implement new automated systems.

Location: UK Warehouse Facility
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3-5 years inventory management experience in high-volume ecommerce environment
  • Experience managing 15,000+ SKUs in fast-moving consumer goods
  • Proven track record with WMS implementation and optimization
  • Experience in apparel/entertainment product categories preferred
  • Background in multi-channel inventory management (B2B/B2C)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (Despatch Cloud experience

advantageous)

  • Strong Excel/data analysis capabilities
  • Experience with automated warehouse systems and integration projects
  • Knowledge of barcode/scanning technologies
  • Understanding of demand forecasting and inventory planning principles

LEADERSHIP & SOFT SKILLS

  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
  • Change management experience during system implementations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in seasonal inventory management
  • Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications
  • Previous experience with courier integration and shipping optimization
  • Knowledge of automated folding and bagging technologies
