Description

We are currently looking for an administrator for inventory control and margin analysis in the Estevan area. This company is rapidly growing, has a solid reputation, a strong community presence that takes pride in their employees through trust and respect. This position will start as soon the right candidate is identified.

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ Grade 12 with 2+ years of post secondary education in business admin or a related field
§ Willing to grow and adapt as this new position evolves
§ Experience in an administrative role
§ Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail
§ Positive attitude with good communication and people skills
§ Self-motivated, results driven individual
§ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
§ Understanding of inventory control, receiving, sales, reconciliation, turns, etc.
§ Understanding of margin dollars and margin percentages
§ Knowledge of transportation functions is an asset

Responsibilities

§ Daily analysis on acceptable margins for fuel and lube sales
§ Collaborate with sales and retail counter staff to control inventory sales and purchasing
§ Ensure optimal inventory levels
§ Make routine trips to other offices working with staff ensuring effective policies and procedures
§ Ensuring accurate counts, reconciliation, corrections, pricing and write offs
§ Adjust prices to allow for acceptable margins
§ Reconcile bulk fuel to sales and book inventory values in the system ensuring information integrity
§ Organization of inventory categories
§ Maintaining current inventory information using the in-house system
§ Inactivating products no longer in stock
