POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all inventory processes for our 503A pharmacy. You will be a key player in our operations, directly contributing to cost savings, regulatory compliance, and our overall business growth. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can help us build a scalable and highly organized inventory system from the ground up. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee and optimize inventory levels and records to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. * Execute regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock integrity. * Collaborate on the receiving process by accurately verifying incoming shipments and inspecting for quality and damage. * Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings. * Ensure all inventory management practices comply with regulatory requirements, including GMP and FDA regulations. * Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of materials for production. * Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or GED. * 2-3 years of proven experience in a dedicated inventory control role. * Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems, such as Net Suite. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail. * Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment. * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management or logistics. * Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry. * Certification in inventory management or a related field. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace, with a focus on using spreadsheet tools (like Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand, walk, and lift packages up to 35 lbs on a regular basis. * Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other departments. * Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as counting, scanning, and typing. * Ability to work in a typical warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
