Description
The Inventory Specialist – Asia is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating stock movements, and supporting regional supply chain operations across different Contract Manufactures sites. This role ensures data integrity within inventory systems, monitors stock availability, investigates discrepancies, and collaborates with warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory performance. This also involved managing Work Orders and ensuring timely and accurate transactions. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate the operational complexity of diverse countries, time zones, and regulatory environments across Asia. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records across regional warehouses and distribution centers in Asia Contract Manufacturers * Conduct regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits. * Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and system mismatches. * Ensure timely completion of Work Orders and materials movement in CM sites * Know the status of all materials in CM sites on all levels (Raw, WIP, Finished Goods) * Track inbound and outbound stock movements and ensure timely system updates. * Generate inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs for regional supply chain teams. * Ensure inventory processes comply with company policies, audit requirements, and regional regulations. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency Education & Experience * Minimum 2-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles (preferably in Asia). * Experience working with Oracle, MES (Camstar) systems is a plus. * Background in Manufacturing and distributions is beneficial. * BS degree relevant fields Skills * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. * Ability to work across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones. * Strong communication and coordination skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment * May include travel to the US for the initial training Working Conditions * On-site job function Culture Commitment Ensure adherence to company’s values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.: Integrity – Create an Environment of Trust Collaboration – Innovate Through the Sharing of Ideas Accountability – Own the Process and the Outcome Respect – Recognize the Value in Everyone Enthusiasm – Find a Sense of Purpose in Work   Coherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
