Description Inventory Control Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the proper receipt and billing of products, and supporting overall inventory management processes. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the accuracy of incoming Bills of Lading (BOLs) by verifying shipment details against purchase orders and delivery documentation - Receive inventory into the Point of Sale (POS) system, accurately recording product details and quantities - Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies - Research and resolve inventory discrepancies through investigation and collaboration with relevant departments - Review inventory counts with management to ensure consistency and address any issues - Ensure proper billing of correct products, verifying that all transactions are accurately documented - Lift and move inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds - Proficiency with POS systems and inventory software is a plus - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory Join our dynamic team and contribute to maintaining efficient and accurate inventory processes.
