As an Inventory Specialist at Bill Jacobs Volkswagen, you’ll play a key role in supporting both our Service and Sales operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, smooth vehicle flow, and a professional customer experience. This entry-level position offers hands-on exposure across departments and serves as a growth pathway into roles such as Service Advisor and other operational leadership opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests professionally and assisting with basic service and transaction-related questions Accurately process customer payments and invoices using CDK (cash, credit, and check transactions) Reconcile daily cash drawers and maintain secure handling of all funds Stock in new and used vehicles, ensuring all documentation, keys, and deal jackets are accurate and complete Coordinate dealer trades, vehicle paperwork, and plate administration Support inventory audits and ensure system accuracy Enter used vehicles into Rapid Recon and support the reconditioning process to meet 72-hour turn expectations Coordinate with Service, Sales, Parts, Accounting, and Recon teams to keep vehicle flow moving efficiently Maintain professional workspaces including the customer waiting area and cashier counter Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and dealership policies at all times What It’s Like to Work Here At Bill Jacobs Volkswagen, we believe in developing people, not just filling roles.
