Description Job Summary: This role is responsible for handling, moving, and storing materials within the customer’s facility while supporting inventory control and daily transfers of parts between the customer location and Monti Inc. This is not solely a forklift operator position. The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and willing to perform a variety of shipping, material handling, inventory, and delivery duties. Daily local deliveries and pick-ups are an essential part of this role, and excellent customer service skills are critical to success. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service Customer inventory management: will be responsible for monitoring customer stock levels, identifying when replenishment is required, and delivering parts/materials in a timely manner. Perform all shipping and receiving responsibilities Safely operate a forklift while maintaining awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surroundings Operate a box truck for local deliveries and pick-ups Accurate transfer of parts and materials between customer and Monti Inc. locations Identify and deliver materials to correct warehouse locations Multitask and prioritize requests to meet deadlines Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment Maintain material handling equipment by coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance with the Maintenance Team Maintain 6S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) across all work areas Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor Skills: Basic understanding/comprehension of use of ERP systems. Excellent customer service and organizational skills Basic computer proficiency Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) Forklift and box truck operation skills Strong attention to detail Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Strong work ethic Dependable, punctual, and reliable Abilities: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Maintain awareness of customer facility policies not limited to but to include EHS policies and procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly and efficiently Willingness to have performance measured daily Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license required Prior warehouse or inventory control experience required Prior shipping department experience required Excellent customer service and communication skills required Forklift certification preferred Must be able to pass insurance clearance to operate a box truck Physical Requirements: Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment. Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day. Any combination of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day. Ability to work up to 8–10-hour shifts and overtime as required by the work. Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time. Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area. Vision abilities required by this job: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
