Description Job Status: Full Time POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Control Specialist II is responsible for accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Manages and maintains the inventory system. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Assesses inventory reports. • Provides inventory reports to procurement and management. · Management of inventory (including pulling short-dates, damaged inventory, product disposition, and vendor returns) • Implements and maintains processes and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. · Resolves any inventory issues and is accountable for highlighting any potential issues and opportunities to management when appropriate. · Ensures the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics are maintained and reported monthly. • Works across various teams to coordinate and complete cycle counts; • Engages with customer service operations to assist in resolving customer delivery product discrepancies; • Develops & maintains good working relationships with vendors · Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory Audits · Performs other related duties/functions as requested POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) • Leader Skills - Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others. • Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the operational needs while following company procedures. • Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. • Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word. • Assertiveness - Ability to act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of a work assignment or to defend a position or idea. • Positive Attitude: Ability to be encouraging, positive, and realistic about potential matches. • Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others. •Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. • Conflict Resolution - Ability to deal with others in an antagonistic situation. • Motivation - Ability to inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability. • Goal-oriented - Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result. · Ability to perform basic math calculations SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Five+ years’ experience in Inventory Control along with computerized inventory systems required. Experience using RF Gun Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust. Skills: Presentation skills, motivating others, foster teamwork, customer service, emphasizing excellence. In addition, experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
