Responsibilities
  • Maintains and improves the current replenishment of parts inventory at each location as directed, including but not limited to, parts departmental supplies, merchandise and consumables
  • Maximizes profits with minimal inventory investment
  • Maintains required Daily MDI orders (Paccar stock orders)
  • Provides weekly OEM equipment stock orders (Case, Link-belt and Tigercat)
  • Provides weekly non-OEM stock orders (local vendors)
  • Conducts supply chain management and forecasts future demand
  • Ensures reduction of stocking vendors and consolidates inventory when and where possible
  • Maintains turn criteria as corporately established
  • Maximizes all parts returns to local and global vendors
  • Ensures that obsolete parts are kept at a minimum
  • Transfers parts between locations to maximize inventory control and product overstock
  • Creates a standardized emergency parts order policy applicable to all locations
  • Monitors the perpetual inventory counts at all currently assigned locations for accuracy and frequency
  • Provides weekly reports to the Corporate Manager Procurement and Inventory with inventory levels, obsolescence
  • Coordinates monthly call with the assigned region to ensure quality control and resolve outstanding issues
  • Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual, WorkSafe BC (Canada)
