Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for an Inventory Control Specialist in our Distribution Center for our Reno, NV location. Responsibilities: * Performing the inventory counts that are prepared for them on a daily basis   * Daily cycle count    * Walks to area of warehouse designated for counting   * Counts all parts on shelf   * Records the number of parts    * Performs recounts after the initial cycle count   * Recording and distributing clear and concise messages to internal staff   * Preparing monthly reports for Inventory manager   * Recording and distributing clear and concise messages to internal staff   * Preparing monthly reports for Inventory manager    Qualifications:    * High school diploma or equivalent * Forklift experience preferred * The ability to accurately count and report parts * The ability to respond quickly to problems  * The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; * The ability to make arithmetic calculations  * The ability to lift objects weighing sixty (60) pounds floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to overhead   * The ability to frequently walk and stand on concrete floors   * The ability to squat and reach overhead to gain access to higher and lower shelves Additional Information:   $18.00/hour, plus the opportunity to earn $200 a month in BONUSES.  The hours are 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday through Friday   Climate Controlled Warehouse We offer a benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, company sponsored life, optional life and disability insurance, Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts, a 401(k) plus match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Parental Leave, Paid Time Off (PTO), a Dress for your Day dress code and paid holidays.  Kimball Midwest is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to a program of recruitment of females, minority group members, individuals with disabilities, qualifying veterans and any other classification that is protected by federal, state, or local law.
