LaborMax Staffing has joined forces with Sika Corporation in Marion, looking to fill an Inventory Specialist Role! This position is a long term flexible position working through LaborMax Staffing onsite at Sika Corporation.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: BA/BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 6+ months experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

BROAD FUNCTION AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Inventory Specialist has a responsibility to support operational efficiency and financial health. This position ensures that inventory is utilized effectively, mitigates excess and obsolete stock, and collaborates across departments to implement strategic solutions. By providing comprehensive reporting, facilitating cross-functional communication, and driving process improvements, the Inventory Specialist helps maintain a streamlined supply chain while aligning
inventory strategies with business objectives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Publish reports and presentations on inventory results and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory utilization and reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Identify and prioritize root cause of slow-moving inventory, driving corrective actions across cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively across varying levels of detail from executives to peers.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to right size minimum order quantities, pricing, space requirements to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Influence key stakeholders through the organization, resolving conflicts and drive results, bridge between different functions and teams.
  • To execute other projects or activities to-be-determined as directed by Leadership.
