Under the direction of the Warehouse or Distribution Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for completing all steps required in performing a cycle count program. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. This is achieved by cycle count audits and maintenance of inventory reporting. Includes physically counting inventory items, comparing counted quantities to inventory records, processing adjustments, analyzing variances, proposing process improvements and reporting results in a professional and accurate manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. Assists with both product and component identification and location programs. Responsible for product and component cycle counts. Research discrepancies and determine correct action required. Processes inventory adjustments. Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Compiles, verifies, and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding physical inventory. Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy. Will physically identify and count daily bin locations safely, efficiently, and accurately. Thoroughly and accurately identify inventory, count material & track results following established process. Identify and recommend revisions to work instruction, processes and procedures. Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures. Skills, Education, and/or Experience Prefer 2-3 years of prior cycle counting and/or inventory control experience. Experience with computer-oriented inventory control/business systems, MRP. Forklift experience is highly desired. Proficient with standard office computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.) is required. Must be detailed oriented, highly organized, with superior accuracy. Self-motivated. High degree of personal integrity. Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Strong mathematical skills. Fast learner. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to participate in a Team concept work environment. Ability to work independently. Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be dependable, accurate, customer oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Consistently puts forth exceptional effort; works efficiently; keeps up with assigned work.
