Description
Description The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely transaction of all inbound and outbound raw materials. This person will maintain all inventory transactions for material issued to jobs, work order transactions, cycle count integrity and intercompany work orders – ensuring timely flow of materials inbound and outbound from the manufacturing facility. Requirements • Receipt of raw materials in accordance with company procedures—ensuring that all cert documents align with purchase orders, validating QTY’s, expiration dates and material serial IDs. • Induction of customer repair orders—creating internal company jobs in accordance with company procedures and standard work for position—ensuring that all customer jobs are inducted and passed to analytical within 24 hours of receipt. • Ensure that proper documentation is filed with Purchase Order copies per company procedures • Support documentation retrieval for audit requests and engineering reviews, as requested • Creating manufacturing job orders as required by site planning and operations team as well as R&D jobs as required by engineering • Create intercompany work orders and maintain accuracy on company databases • Maintain accurate inventory balances for all stock room goods. • Execute pick ticket requests from Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain—ensuring that material is issued to jobs • Execute job order and service order splits, as needed, and directed by Operations team members. • Confirm that job orders and customers orders are linked when required by business teams • Provide backup support to shipping team members when high volume of shipping is required • Update intercompany databases as required based on new work orders being issued to sister sites for OSP process support. • Provide backup support for company driving requirements • Obtain OSHA forklift driver certification Required Education and Experience: · High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. · A valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last three years (MVR check will be performed) Preferred Education and Experience: Past inventory control and shipping/receiving experience
