JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Control Specialist, WBC will be responsible for the direct management and handling of all NCS Multistage Inc. Well Construction finished goods, inventory management, and all warehousing and distribution functions. The incumbent will be accountable for inbound and outbound freight, as well as ensuring staff adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. The Inventory Control Specialist, WBC will accomplish effective oversight through strong leadership and decision-making skills, and will lead by example by complying with all company policies, procedures, and regulations with a strong focus on Health, Safety and Operational excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for the preparation, planning, and scheduling of all Liner Hanger builds/teardowns and the day-to-day shop operations
  • Ensure all liner hanger job packages and documentation are completed accurately and completely for shipping
  • Participate and work with the Well Construction Warehousemen on Liner Hanger builds, ensuring Assembly SOP’s are being followed and all documentation is being filled out completely and accurately
  • Work with the warehousemen to ensure that the torquing, pressure testing, crane operation and forklift operations are carried out safely and accurately in accordance with the NCS SOP’s
  • Work with the Service Line Manager in the ordering, creating, tracking and inspections of all liner hanger assets
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation is uploaded into dispatch
  • Create and complete liner hanger build work orders
  • Monitor and track all well construction inventory movements within Oracle
  • Work with the Service Line Manager on well construction inventory by providing support and recommendations, and quarterly and yearly counts
  • Work with the Service Line Manager on ordering and shipping of inventory internationally
  • Create and send out BOL’s for liner hanger installs
  • Rotational after hour and weekend load outs and returns
  • Implement service quality training and assurance while maintaining a high level of competence and job excellence
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and client requirements
  • Responsible for safety and well-being of the direct team, including contractors and visitors, and for the environmental performance of the liner hanger shop
  • Work with the Service Line Manager to ensure operations are being run in a cost-effective manner without compromising corporate standards of service quality and safety
  • Help to promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance
  • Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
  • Align individual goals with NCS’s corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
  • Participate in your Personal Development for Success (PDS)
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Business/Operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience with logistics; international origins and destinations
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, follow-up, and personnel leadership skills
  • Ability to plan scheduled tasks within guidelines set by senior personnel
  • Ability to calmly and effectively handle multiple and changing priorities in a dynamic fast-paced work environment
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving and design
  • Work independently with limited supervision
  • High level of efficiency & work ethic
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
